While some of the initial screens of the Wii version of the upcoming Ghostbusters game were, shall we say, less than impressive, there are some advantages.

First up, four player split-screen multi-player. While it doesn’t seem like this will be co-op through the main story, which would only seem appropriate (since, you know, there are four Ghostbusters), there as some modes being discussed. Two teams will go up to trap ghosts, likely in a versus mode to see who can bag the most. Two in the box, ready to go, we be fast and they be slow. The PS2 version will also carry this feature.

Next up, the Wii version will have DS connectivity. The tiny handheld will act as the Ghostbusters PKE meter, the device the team used in the movies to track the ghosts energy and find them. That is mighty cool, though how effective it actually is remains to be seen.
