Nine days is all it took for one million gamers to download the map pack for the insanely popular Call of Duty. That’s 111,111 per day. That’s also $1,111,110 each day. Who gets that bonus? Infinity Ward had this to say about the stat:

Grateful shouldn’t even begin to describe how they feel about that payday. Did we mention that’s only for the Xbox 360 version of the maps? The PS3 and PC are still to come. In this case, the developer deserves it. COD4 remains the top game on Live over Halo 3 for a reason. No other game has challenged it to date.
