A sleeper near classic, Viva Pinata was lost in a holiday shuffle of titles and criminally ignored by many gamers. After a surprisingly decent cartoon and not so good party game spin-off that’s better off ignored, a full fledged follow up is on its way. What’s it adding? Loads.
First up, two players can now hop online together to create gardens together in the new co-op mode. Developer Rare is taking a page from Sony’s book and copying Eye of Judgement by adding in cards that can unlock new content through the Vision Camera. Also, you can take pics of your Pinata creations and post them online. The game is due sometime in September, and until then, you put in the original and whack happy-go-lucky critters with your shovel as often as you’d like.
