While it may not be the juggernaut World of Warcraft is, Age of Conan is still the first game to crack a million copies shipped in the MMO genre since WoW took over. Unsurprisingly, vice president of sales and marketing VP Morten Larssen was happy:
“The numbers are very promising, and we are very proud to be one of the fastest selling PC games ever in a launch month and the biggest simultaneous Europe/US MMO launch in history.”
Of course you’re proud. Proud of the bonus check. Proud of the bonus on the subscriptions. Proud that you landed the job that will make you rich… the list continues to go.
