EA Sports has given patient gamers with a knack for golf two reasons to start playing Tiger Woods ‘08 again… at least on the Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 owners get no love here.
Turnberry Golf Resort is the first added 18, a carry over from Tiger Woods ‘07. Apparently because it’s repeated content, this is a freebie. Why it wasn’t on the disc in the first place remains a piece of information we’ll know.
Doral Golf Resort is the second addition, this is a first timer for next generation consoles. That will run you $5. Will Tiger ‘09 have this course on the disc?
Fans of the series can at least be happy EA isn’t charging for cheats as they did in ‘07 which caused quite a stir amongst the community last year. The only extra this year is the ability to upload additional GamerNet content, which is purely an “as needed” feature.
