We, the longtime followers who have played Mortal Kombat for nearly two decades have put up with a lot. Sweat on the SNES, a crappy fourth entry, nearly unplayable portable versions, and the recent clunkers on the PS2 and Xbox. So why good sir, are we not able to rip Batman’s spine out and hold it high for everyone to see?

Instead, you’ll be modifying those wonderfully gooey murders to push the thing into a Teen rating. Who can forget the last time fatalities were “modified” and characters died due to a kick to the chest in the Super NES version? We, the fans, have not. That game was a bad joke, and if you’re pulling the same crap this time, you’re going to lose us. You has better have the best fighting engine ever if you’re going to try this.
