Gee, guess he wasn’t kidding when he said Ninja Gaiden II would be his swan song.
Longtime Tecmo developer Tomonobu Itagaki has announced he’ll be leaving his employer as of… now. In his wake, he’s leaving Tecmo with a $1.5 million lawsuit. Why? Apparently, Tecmo president Yoshimi Yasuda called him some naughty names which led to emotional distress.
And to think that stuff only happened in America…
Anyway, Itagaki goes way back to some of the earlier Tecmo Bowl titles on the SNES which puts him at the 15 year anniversary mark. Talk about celebrating with style.
