Microsoft likes money. We all know that. So, if you get a message in your Xbox Live inbox stating you can get free MS Points for doing nothing other than visiting a site, it’s probably a good idea to avoid it. It’s not real.
Someone came up with a clever scheme to have those who fall for the scam automatically send a message to their entire friends list, stating they too can get some free points. All you’re doing is signing away your personal information. The points don’t exist, this isn’t sponsored by some company, and it’s not a contest. It’s a scam, and pretty poor one at that.
