Pixel Junk Monsters Patched Soon, Game to Be Easier

I love Pixel Junk Monsters. It’s quirky visuals, excellent strategy, and general awesomeness drew me in instantly. There’s a problem though. Level 3 is damn near impossible. It’s been a week and I still let my cute little grass skirt wearing, uh, things get eaten by those monster jerks.

Help is on the way for players lacking in skill such as myself. A new update (a freebie) is coming soon, and while it includes the expected achievement… err, trophy support, it’s also going to offer selectable difficulties. So maybe, just maybe, I can get past level 3. Maybe.

Ok, I waited and waited for this patch. All I read said it was going to be great and make the game so much easier, wow! Got the patch downloaded it and wow! not one bit different.(I won't even go into the problems getting the patch. That was another can of worms).Only thing they added a trophy challenge and casual mode. This is no different than the regular online mode I was struggling with before. So, I don't get how this was to make it easier. I am a point were I am ready to give up and stop playing as I can not go any further in the game and; I don't give up easily.I have tried and tired and I am getting nowhere. I have lots of time invested in playing the game plus doing the different levels 15+ times and still not getting through it.I know of lots of people that have given up on the game. Some have even gone as far as delete it from their PS3. I am getting close to doing that myself.
  • Yikes! Well, let us know what happens.

You should try looking up a gameplay vid on youtube of that level. It may help you find a strategy you didnt think of. You shouldn't give up on the game, it's awesome! :)
