Martijn Van der Meulen, a producer on Sony’s much hyped PlayStation 3 app Home has a made a guarantee that Home will launch this year. In an interview with IGN, Van der Meulen confirmed the date, and reassured everyone that this will always be a free service. Granted, like with the Live Marketplace and GamePics, some content will need to be paid for.
The IGN walkthrough takes players through all aspects of the service from inside the beta, from clothing, to furniture, the home square, and various other oddities. Those interested should definitely take a look at the piece over on IGN.
