Anyway, the Summer of Arcade promotion broke records for the download service, and there’s a simple reason why: the games freakin’ rocked. The campaign showed an increase of 58% in purchases, plus a 67% gain in revenue (mostly because many of the games were freakin’ expensive). Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten has promised more great games this year, including Portal Still Alive, South Park, and a new R-Type.
