Someone in quality control is in a lot of trouble right now.
With only a few days to go until release, Sony announced the game had been recalled. The reason? One of the included songs made references to the Qur’an. No, not offensive references such as the debacle that was Kakuto Chojin, but just lines from the Muslim holy book. While Media Molocule had a patch ready to go to remove the non-offending song on day one, Sony chose to play it safe with their biggest game of the holiday season.
The game was delayed from October 21st to October 27th, which seems like a quick turn around in pressing and shipping millions of copies of the game. The patch will still go live anyway when it does finally come out as it also addressed other issues as well.
