Apparently part of an interesting experiment (or an attempt by Microsoft to find every way to recoup their cost), Gamestop will be selling the upcoming expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV entitled the Lost and the Damned on cards. Yes, the expansion will be available in stores, yet it won’t contain a disc. It begs the question that if you’re going to take up retail shelf space with something like this, why not put a disc in there for people who don’t have a high speed connection? The only benefit is a poster included with the package.
The list price is $19.99, so one would logically deduce that will be downloadable price as well. Rockstar has yet to confirm.
