While it’s only a small indicator of total holiday sales, when you outsell your competition 3 to 1 on the biggest shopping day of the year, well, damn. Not only did the 360 beat down the PS3 in sales, it was a 25% increase from last years Black Friday.
Now, before fanboys end up with some sort of seizure, let it be known that the majority of stores offered some crazy 360 deals in-store and online. In fact, compared to the PS3, savvy shoppers could have saved over $100 on a 360 bundle. Comparatively, there was no competition, so it’s hardly an indicator of popularity at this point. Besides, there’s a long way to go until Christmas.
