While it’s been promised by Microsoft that the infamous $50 million Grand Theft Auto IV downloadable expansion would make it in 2008, it turns out that may not be the case. Rockstar’s Dan Houser has stated that he’s “not sure” if 2008 is a possibility in a Variety interview. A rumor has been swirling around that January or February ‘09 would be the more likely release.

At this point though, who’s still excited for this? I sold my copy a few weeks back to pay for some of the new releases coming around this year. Early next year will have Resident Evil 5, so who will go back to GTA for their gaming needs?
