SNK Playmore must of had success with King of Fighters ‘98 ReBout, as they’ll be redoing another one in the same style. The game this time is King of Fighter 2002, a somewhat unbalanced but still fun fighter. The roster will hold a massive 66 fighters, and feature fully redone backgrounds. This time around the subtitle will be Ultimate Match, though sadly, it’s only scheduled for a Japanese release at this time for the PS2.
In fact, America is still waiting for KOF ‘98 ReBout, due sometime in January as a standalone release. Hopefully, with all of the obscure Japanese titles due out for the PS2 this late in its life cycle, there’s no reason this one shouldn’t see the light of day either.
