If you own an Xbox 360 there is a good chance you have probably experienced the degrading feeling of RROD. Sneaking up on you it violates you leaving you feeling cheap and used. RODD, of course, stands for Red Ring Of Death. Now while this 360 malfunction is fairly common and so not really news worthy, the fact Microsoft has recently stated that RODD may be a thing of the past is. Aaron Greenberg was quoted as saying “We’ve put the worst behind us on this, but we know there are a few lagging systems, and so we want to take those and make it right.” This statement has proven to be accurate so far seeing as how my 360 just recently experienced this, and was technically just over warranty. To Microsoft’s credit they didn’t even attempt to argue with me they just took my system back and promptly fixed it with-in a week. So to them i say this, Bravo to you, and let’s hope this ugly monster does not come back from the dead like in a bad horror film.
