It was highly publicized that once Halo Wars was finished, so was developer Ensemble Studios. That apparently isn’t enough to stop any future DLC, because Ensemble is still considering the possibilities. In an interview with Electricpig, studio producer Jason Pace stated:
“We are committed to supporting the franchise… additional downloadable content is something we’re looking in to.”
So, even if you’re out of a job, you’re still looking into future content? It’s surprising the content wouldn’t be farmed over to a different first party developer in some way, with some of the Halo Wars team merging with whoever that may be.
