Yes, the longtime proud independent studio is no more, now littered with corporate execuitives looking to push out another in a string of complex RPGs filled with terrible combat systems (yes, Oblivion is not a favorite around here). No one will be losing their jobs due to the change in ownership, and ZeniMax plans on keeping them running down the same path. The move from id’s POV is purely to help build them financially.
