After Dana White announced he would black ball any mixed martial arts fighter from the UFC if they appeared in the upcoming EA Sports MMA , people were left wondering what would EA be able to bring to the table as far as fighters go. It would be reasonable to assume White’s statement would scare off many current fighters in other organizations as well as new bloods, seeing as how the UFC has more or less become the major leagues of mixed martial arts.
One fighter, however, who clearly does not care about White’s threat is Fedor Emelianenko, World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts (WAMMA) heavyweight champion, because EA has announced him as one of their new games fighters. This should prove to be an interesting turn of events seeing as how Dana White has been actively pursuing Fedor for the UFC over the last few years. Now it will become a question of how bad White wants Fedor, since he will have to break his word to get him at this point.
