Kudos to one David Race (left). He was coined the biggest Pac-Man fan in the world by playing the game for nearly four hours straight.
Oh, and he holds the record for reaching a perfect score in the fastest time ever? Well, that’s pretty impressive too then.
Race managed to reach Pac-Man’s kill screen in exactly three hours, 41 minutes, and 22 seconds. That bests previous record holder Chris Ayra by a meager 42 seconds, certainly scratching by to gain a bit of fame. Time is the only way to gain the record in Pac-Man, as a higher score is impossible because of the kill screen.
By the way, to define the perfect game of Pac-Man, that means eating every ghost with every power pellet, every time until the final screen leaving a total of 3,333,360 points. Yeah, that’s hardcore.
