Kingdom for Keflings will probably be remembered as the first game available will Avatar support. The Ninja Bee-developed title was probably downloaded more for that feature than anything else, which is a shame. The game, a quirky, unique, even calming city-building strategy title that is loaded with content including four-player co-op.
On the PC, it will have to stand on its own minus Avatars, although it should hardly be an issue. The title is just about a year old as this is going live, and no date has been set for the PC port. The press release noted the game will enter into a beta phase, and interested applicants can apply through Ninja Bee’s forums. Everyone selected will get a free copy.
The post does state small suggestions for change could be considered, but the full game will be similar to the XBLA edition. It is hard to argue with that, given the wonderful, immensely playable qualities of Kindgom for Keflings.
