Dubbed a real-life school RPG, Ran Online is developed by Mincommunications Inc. Set in the backdrop of school and cities, Ran gives players a -slightly- more realistic, relatable connection to the game that your standard fantasy MMORPG . After all, saving your school from imminent danger is only slightly less far fetched than saving the world.

Ran Online sees two major events for it’s school-based MMORPG; “Monster swallowed Christmas Presents” and the ‘Raid of Umpa” event. The monster “Rogue Rudolf” will spawn from a question box dropped from a monster. Players who eliminate Rogue Rudolf can collect Christmas items, which they can exchange for Christmas Costumes.

Boxing Day sees the “Boxing Day” event as well, where Ran Online will provide certain cash items as 50% off prices.

Lastly, Ran Online is offering a Christmas Event Hover Board for five finalists who dress their character in the items acquired through Christmas and Boxing Day, and best capture the Christmas spirit.

The premise behind Ran Online is that students unite to protect their schools from evil forces in four different clubs within schools. There are four classes within Ran Online; Swordsman, Archers, Shaman and Brawler, each with their own unique traits.

Community interactions are greatly expanded with the Leader Club Battle, which is a glorified PvP system. Clubs battle one another for the regions throne, and the rights to set the trading fee of the region.
