Week in Arcade Part Deux: Fire Pro-Wrestling

This Friday release is looking for $10 from your wallet.

Fire Pro-Wrestling

Oh dear. While the name Fire Pro Wrestling may excite with memories of awesome import titles, this is not one of them. This Avatar-infested slop fest is clumsy and imprecise, while Xbox Indie Avatar titles walk all over it. While customization, unlockable moves, and, well, your Avatar may alleviate some of the dirt, this is mechanically loose. Animation doesn’t connect, special moves break up the flow for no reason other than to be showy, and hand holding is excessive. Stranger yet, the demo throws the player into a title match, then into the tutorial. Fire Pro belongs in bizarro world.
