The South Korean Supreme Court reached a landmark decision on Sunday, according to the Korean Times, essentially allowing virtual cash used for online games to be exchanged for real money. This decision was reached when the court acquitted two gamers indicted on charges of illegally making almost 20 million won by selling 234 million won worth of cyber money (Aden, the currency of the MMO Lineage) to gamers.

Hasbro have announced that they will be pursuing legal action against the Atari subsidiary, Infogames Entertainment. Hasbro have claimed that Atari have sub-licensed the digital game rights to Dungeons & Dragons to Namco Bandai illegally, and have cited 5 accounts of Atari being in breach of contract as well as acts of fraud.
