Scheduled for release of February 16, EverQuest II unveils Battlegrounds, three competitive, PvP-heavy battlefields. Battlegrounds offers three different types of matches, (Capture the Flag, Hold Territory, and Hold the Relic), capable of hosting up to 48 players total. Battlegrounds will be available for players with characters level 80 to 90. The all-new Chaos armor sets are as a reward for winning.

Heroes of Gaia is a browser-based (Flash required) massively multiplayer game game set in your typical Tolkien-inspired world of swords and sorcery. Sure, it's not getting any medals for originality, but don't overlook this title just yet; the game, inspired by the classic Castle-and-Hero gameplay of vintage PC titles, is surprisingly immersive, and sports some nice artwork to boot.
