Activision have announced that the highly successful COD series has now passed the $3 Billion mark across the six major titles. The statement released by the developer today states that they have achieved 55 million sales, worldwide. Their most recent title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, broke records in entertainment launch sales, earning a staggering $550 million in the first 5 days of release.
