Martijn Van der Meulen, a producer on Sony’s much hyped PlayStation 3 app Home has a made a guarantee that Home will launch this year. In an interview with IGN, Van der Meulen confirmed the date, and reassured everyone that this will always be a free service. Granted, like with the Live Marketplace and GamePics, some content will need to be paid for.
