In an interview with two developers from High Voltage Software on Nintendo Radio Podcast, some grim news made it out about the otherwise hyped up Wii FPS The Conduit. It seems that users may not have any choice but to use friend codes to hop online. It’s not High Voltage’s choice, but more or less one made by Nintendo:
“… folks have to realistically understand, it’s Nintendo’s system. It’s their console, which we have to have their permission and their sign-off for whatever we put into the game.”
So, how ’bout it Nintendo? You say you’re supporting the hardcore gamer? Well here’s your shot at proving it. Let them do what they want with the online stuff.
