Blizzard Lays Down the Law on Cheaters

At the same time Microsoft is dropping gamers from Xbox Live for modded hardware, Blizzard is apparently in a bad mood too. They’ve suspended 350,000 players from both Starcraft and Diablo II play on Battle.net. The ban comes as a result of users that were cheating via third-party hacks, and that goes against the TOS (duh).

Unlike Microsoft though, this is only a suspension for the time being. After 30 days, these users can sign back on. Now, if they try this again, then they’re in trouble and gone until… well, until the end of time or the servers for those games go offline, whichever comes first.
