Wii Sells 2.15 Million, Some Disappointed

Nintendo pushed a staggering 2.15 million units over the holiday season. That’s a ton of money being brought in for Nintendo, not to mention the industry as a whole. But hey, that’s still not enough for some people. Take Jesse Divnich from the Electronic Entertainment Design and Research firm for example. He believes that had it not been for shortages (again?), then that number could have been a staggering 4 million.

Hey, there’s always next year, and retailers can yet again bear the brunt of countless phone calls from desperate parents looking for a Wii for their kids who have been over-exposed to the ads not realizing the games are crap. Burn.
