Well, look at it this way. Even if you liked Godfather II on your system of choice, the world will never have to endure another Godfather III of any kind. Nope, not even one with a digitally recreated performance from Sophia Ford Coppola. Thank god.
Due to apparent poor sales of both entries in the series, EA Game President Frank Gibeau told the LA Times they do not have Godfather game on tap during the next three-year period. He was happy with Paramount during the period the games were in development, but unless the property is sold off, the Godfather and video games will no longer be one in the same.
