Bionic Commando Sales Falter During First Two Weeks

Capcom’s decent if heavily flawed update to Bionic Commando isn’t selling so well. It has been on sale for two weeks, and only 27,000 have grappled their way to the store to pick up the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions… or buy it online. Of course, that’s only two weeks, but consider the sales of Bionic Commando Rearmed.

That downloadable title managed to sell 130,000 units in only one week. Technically, that’s not a fair comparison given that the update only ran players $10 and the remake runs $60, but think of all the fans who decided not to give this franchise another chance. Hopefully it becomes a steady seller, because the potential is there for future sequels.
