GTA Chinatown Wars Makes PSP Visit

Well, here’s one we didn’t see coming. Apparently the disappointing sales of Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars on the DS have prompted Rockstar to port the previous exclusive over to the PSP. The game will now feature widescreen support, new story missions, and improved visuals. Note this will still be overhead, not third person as with previous Grand Theft Auto titles on the PSP.

Will owners of Sony’s console be accepting of the perspective? They have already received two console-like GTA’s in the past, and Chinatown Wars is a departure due to the origin console. Hopefully it does well for Rockstar to recoup some costs regardless of the reception.
