Net Yaroze Development Shutting Down

Sony released the Net Yaroze twelve years ago as a kick start the consoles industries focus on independent gaming. For a somewhat hefty price, gamers could pick up the nifty looking black PlayStation and begin coding games, some of which ended up on various demo discs over the years.

Unfortunately, Sony is shutting down the server that supports the service at the end of July. So, in case you were working on an indie version of Duke Nukem Forever that has ironically taken just as long as the official development, might want to rush that bad boy out. You don’t have a lot of time left for the world to experience your work.
