Ready for some stupidity from corporate lawyer-ing gone bad?
The next Xbox 360 dashboard update will allow the promised Netflix party viewing option, wherein a group of friends can share the experience of watching a movie together online. Sadly, some studios seem to take issue with this, and their films do not support the party option.
The question then remains: What the hell is difference if you chat online while watching a movie together or meet at someone’s house and watch the movie together? You can’t prevent the latter so it could happen. It could even be happening RIGHT NOW. Go get ’em movie studio lawyers.
