While we question the logic of Microsoft’s “Deal of Week” program (why lower the price for only a week? Just keep it permanent), there is no question certain deals do grab our eye.
This week? Puzzle Quest, the hideously addictive puzzle game that we like to describe as “A PopCap puzzle for game for the hardcore market.” The game’s fantasy world is more appealing than the sci-fi aspects of the sequel, while leveling up keeps you playing. Oh, and it has a versus mode, all this week for a meager price of $5. Even at $10, Puzzle Quest was a steal. This is robbery.
