Wii Motion Plus in 2.9 Million US Homes, Soon to be More

Nintendo’s latest piece to a complete Wii set up, Wii Motion Plus, is just shy of entering 3 million US homes, having sold 2.9 million units since it launch with Tiger Woods 10.

Over 1.2 million of those little attachments have come from Wii Sports Resort in the US, and that number will increase with a new bundle. Wii Sports Resort will soon be bundled with two Motion Plus adapters, something that seems like a logical move… one that should have been there from the start. Still, for the game and two adapters, $60 is not a bad deal. That bundle will be in stores on October 12th if you’ve held off until now.
