2010 MMO Fundraiser Calendar Has Arrived

In the average male’s bedroom, you might find a calendar littered with barely clad women, seductively posing month-to-month, sporting their best “come-hither” expressions. Alternatively, some women might pin up a firefighter calendar, complete with bare-chested behemoths, holding their fire-hoses (and also equipment used to fight fire.)

What if instead of bikini models, you found Blizzard’s night elves, and instead of firefighter Tony, you saw Conan the Barbarian? It’s not as crazy as you might think, because the fourth annual MMO Calendar is now on sale.

The annual, non-profit fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is kicking this year off in style by offering a chance at MMO prizes when you order a calendar.

The 2010 calendar features artwork from some of the more popular MMOs and also some of the not-so-hot:

Age of Conan
Dungeons & Dragons Online
Eve Online
EverQuest II
Free Realms
Guild Wars 2
Lord of the Rings Online
Runes of Magic
RuneScape
The Secret World
Warhammer Online
World of Warcraft

The list of prizes includes subscriptions to the games featured in the calendar, as well as some boxed copies for a few of them. Perhaps the most enticing prize is a closed beta slot for The Secret World, Funcom’s upcoming MMO, formally known as Cabal.

You can order your calendar at www.mmocalendar.com for $12.95. All proceeds go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
