Deco Online is a 3D, massively multiplayer online RPG that sets players smack dab in the middle of a fantastic war between two nations, Milena and Rain. Players can assume the role of swordsman, archer, or wizard. Deco Online combines arcade-like gameplay (attack combos) with MMORPG conventions like PvP, pets, and multiplayer interaction, to make for an interesting and enjoyable gameplay experience.
Deco Online is rather easy to get into and play; finding equipment is relatively easy and leveling is hardly the grinding chore one would expect in a free to play MMORPG, as monsters are abundant and bonus experience events ease leveling considerably.
The game’s pet system is also interesting, if not a bit tedious and time-consuming; their experience gains are very slow, and their food is difficult to find.
Publisher Joymax has launched a major update for Deco Online, “The Holy Land of Seal”. The level cap has been increased to 110, new Ruin and Seal items have been added, as well as five new dungeons, the Hells of Pain, Silence, Fire, Ruin, and Seal.
The Holy Land of Seal is open to players Level 83 or higher, and will require the completion of several quests in two major towns. These quests reward players with a “Stone of Wise Man”, granting them access to the new area.
With the opening of the Holy Land of Seal, a new experience event has been introduced from now until January 26, 2010. Players will earn 200% experience for everything they do in-game, from monster-slaying to questing.
Being a free-to-play MMORPG and sporting a charming anime look and interesting combat system (compared to your typical MMO, in any case), Deco Online might just be a title worth checking out.
