The NCAA Football franchise had, up until now, been a yearly tradition for PSP owners since 2007. Mark 2010 as its year of death.
EA confirmed to IGN the franchise is now kaput on the handheld, or at least benched for a year, although they failed to specify a reason (one could assume sales were low if nothing else). Instead, EA will be focusing on a different portable platform, the iPhone/iPad. NCAA Football 11 is currently scheduled for a July 13th release on the home consoles. Those Apple versions surely will not be too far behind.
