Apparently, not featuring one of the biggest exclusive titles of the year at your E3 press conference has some benefits. Crackdown 2 was completely absent from from the media event, but now everyone has a chance to get their hands on the demo, with perks.
As it turns out, downloading the demo and giving it a play will begin to earn you achievements… when you get the full game. In other words, while you can earn the achievement in the demo, it doesn’t unlock until you pop the full game in. There is little reason not to download the demo, with four-player co-op included, advanced leveling, and Facebook functionality. It’s stacked, and a sequel to one of the best games on the hardware.
