LIVEapalooza… ouch.
It may not be the best name for a promotion, but it will have to suffice. Between July 6th and the 12th, the Xbox Live Marketplace will see discounts on numerous music game tracks, including Rock Band 1 & 2, Guitar Hero World Tour & 5, plus all versions of Lips. The number of tracks is extensive (full list), and it is great to see markdowns coming to all of this content, not just XBLA or some map packs.
On top of the discounts, Microsoft is also offering a sweepstakes for two tickets to Lollapalooza, which in retrospect, isn’t the greatest name either. At least it’s catchy.
