Twisted Pixel is hilarious, but they are literally in their game this time out. Launching a special attack makes their hands appear on screen to clear the enemies, and then headbutt them into oblivion. It’s hilarious, and the self-referential humor that mocks their own games and DLC is even more brilliant. Sadly, the gameplay is a bit of a miss, the shooting sections sloppy, and there’s no reason you can’t melee an enemy right next to you. Shooting them is flat out impractical. The beat-em-up sections are mundane and simple, although it has brief spurts of loose rail shooting to break things up. Hilarity ensues through conversation though, making you forget your frustrations and still enjoy your time spent within these pages.
