You know that piece of plastic that unlocks the Gears of War 3 beta, Bulletstorm? You’ll be able to put that disc in come mid-April and enjoy four Gears maps and three new game modes. The maps themselves will be chosen by a community vote via Facebook, while the “new” game modes remain cryptically hidden away for a later announcement.
Beta participants also have a chance to unlock a gold version of the Lancer. You’ll need to do more than simply boot it up though, producer Rod Fergusson tossing out some numbers at a press event, something in the realm of 90 games played with at least 100 Lancer kills.
