Those who had their Modern Warfare 2 experience destroyed by the recent round of PlayStation 3 exploits can finally move back into their favorite shooter as a patch should be live sometime today, if it’s not already.
Sony recently updated the PS3’s firmware, and that has allowed Infinity Ward to get back in there and put everything back where it belongs. Details on the patch are slim as Activision didn’t want to break down the security again.
In terms of general gameplay, the patch will also address glitches and will be simultaneously released on the Xbox 360. There’s a rock on Fuel that is open enough that players can squeeze inside of and exit the confines of the level. Sounds an awful lot like the Railyard exploit from World at War where players were finding a means of getting under the map.
