Week in Arcade: Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale

After a brief spat with some Marketplace issues, D&D fans can get their hands on this $15 adventure.

Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale

Fans of Torchlight can come back to their action RPG roots here, although this is definitely a bit more of an investment running on the D&D 4th Edition rules. Complexity isn’t all bad though, as hacking through hordes of enemies is still fun and enjoyable whether or not the term “4th Edition” means anything to you or not. The engine is capable if a bit sluggish, and the camera can get in the way of exploration with these multi-tiered levels, but plowing through hordes of orcs and goblins still satisfies, especially with three online friends joining the fray.
