Vita. Yep, it’s official. NGP is no longer, but Vita is, and the best part? It’s only $249 for the Wi-Fi only model or $300 for a 3G + Wi-Fi model, 3G provided by AT&T. Games announced included new versions of Little Big Planet, Uncharted, and Street Fighter x Tekken. Numerous social features and connectivity are finding a home as well, including continuing experiences from the Vita right into a PS3 version of the same game.
On the PS3 front, Sony renewed its focus on Move with demos of NBA 2K12 exclusive controls, a new IP called Medieval Moves, and added support in Infamous 2 and Little Big Planet 2. Show stealers were present though, including an EVE Online-based FPS called Dust 514 that will play right into the universe and remain a part of it, not just a side story. Uncharted 3 looked superb, and Sly Cooper is coming back. A nice outing from Sony despite a heavy focus on Move.
