Nintendo 3DS eShop Live

On time and as promised, the Nintendo 3DS online eShop has gone live. For those who have been waiting, they can get in there and snag a free copy of 3D Classics Excitebike and a nifty, detailed-at-E3 Pokedex application. Other exclusives include Game Boy games in the Virtual Console, including the vastly under-appreciated Super Mario Land and Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Prices vary, and you also have access to almost any software from the DSi Store as well, which means you should be downloading Shantae: Risky’s Revenge as part of your gaming community service.

If the update to download the eShop hasn’t pinged you yet, head into the system settings and scroll over to system update. You’ll be able to access it there. You’ll also want to watch that OK Go music video one last time. Once the update is complete, OK Go is gone forever.
