Though I’ve quit Call of Duty, I acknowledge its popularity. So if you’re a huge fan of Call of Duty, I think you should know that tickets to Call of Duty XP went on sale yesterday.
You have heard of Call of Duty XP, right?
Call of Duty XP is the biggest Call of Duty experience for diehard fans, taking place in LA on September 2nd and 3rd. Fans will be able to get hands on time on the multiplayer and Spec Ops modes from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Attendees will also see Call of Duty: Elite working at the event and there will be a CoD competitions for players, including a $1 million dollar tournament from Activision.
Tickets are $150 and they’re good for both days of the event. The tickets also get you into all events and activities but there’s a limit of two tickets per buyer. Ticket sales will also go towards a non-profit call “Call of Duty Endowment,” which helps soldiers transition back into civilian life with jobs.
I don’t know if it’s correct to call it a convention but like other conventions, you’re only buying tickets. You’re responsible for your own food, travel, and lodging.
And I thought EVO was crazy. A convention about a single franchise? I mean, let’s face it, this is a convention.
